The event is sponsored by Ameren Illinois and Decatur Memorial Hospital. \n\n\n\nThe Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon is a tradition that began in 1953 as a way for the community to come together and offer thanks and blessings for the year. The event also highlights community leaders\, business leaders\, and notable citizens who have made an impact in the area throughout the year.
