Our program is designed to create awareness for civilians in general and members of the Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce\, specifically.\n\n\n\nLaw Enforcement officials are learning that no matter how quick the response time\, it is never going to be fast enough to stop the carnage of a determined shooter. Discuss pre-attack behavioral indicators.\n\n\n\nOur presenter:\n\nDetective Trevor Stalets is a certified FBI instructor and has provided training for the FBI\, Decatur Police Department\, Macon County Sheriff's Office\, Mobile Training Unit #11\, Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center and the Illinois State Police. Trevor has been in law enforcement for the past 28 years. Of those 28 years\, 4-1/2 years were spent in the patrol division of the Decatur Police Department. In September 1994\, Trevor was assigned to the Illinois State Police Task Force X (10)\, where he worked drug/gang related investigations. In May 2003\, Trevor was assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. There\, Trevor is responsible for investigating both international and domestic terrorism related matters. \n\n\n\nSpecial Agent Mark Hill is a certified FBI Instructor\, Active Shooter Instructor and Primary Firearms Instructor\, and has been in law enforcement for the past 30 years. Of those 30 years\, 12 years were spent with a State of Missouri Police Department. In March 2000\, Mark began his career with the FBI. Mark's first office of assignment was the Washington Field Office. Mark was one of the first responders to the 9/11 attacks at the Pentagon.
