DESCRIPTION:The Greater Decatur Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Tate & Lyle and the most popular restaurants\, pubs\, and cafes in our area to introduce Chamber Restaurant Week 2017\, all this week\, March 20 through March 26.\n\n\n\nAll restaurant patrons can pick up a passport at the chamber office or any participating location and use it three times to enter for a chance to win a $300\, $100\, $50\, or $25 local eating spree   and approximately $1\,000 worth of gift cards will be given away on local radio and social media pages throughout the week.\nParticipating businesses include:\n \n\n\n	\n		\n			Anna Thai\n			Diamond's Family Restaurant\n			The Main Hangar\n		\n		\n			Beach House\n			Doherty's Pub & Pins\n			 \n		\n		\n			Bizou\n			The Draft\n			Paco's Sol Bistro\n		\n		\n			Bob Evans\n			El Corral Mexican Restaurant\n			Port Royal Gastropub\n		\n		\n			Carrol Lou's Smokehouse\n			Fuji Japanese Steakhouse\n			Robbie's Grille\n		\n		\n			Cheddar's Casual Cafe\n			The Gin Mill\n			Solsa\n		\n		\n			Coffee Connection\n			IHOP\n			TKG's Wing Heaven\n		\n		\n			The Decanter\n			Il Forno \n			The Wharf\n		\n		\n			Del's Popcorn\n			Local's 101\n			University Dog\n		\n	\n\n\n\nAs part of Chamber Restaurant Week\, all chamber members associated with the food and beverage industry were invited to a Restaurant Food & Beverage Roundtable discussion on February 15\, which brought local owners together to discuss current challenges\, trends\, and opportunities happening within the Decatur food service community.\n\n\n\nParticipating businesses were invited to apply for a $500 grant\, sponsored by Richland Community College\, to go toward aesthetic improvements\, educational offerings\, or technology enhancements for the business. Last year\, the winner of the grant was awarded to the Decatur Club\, which was used to send a chef to the culinary arts program at Richland Community College. The winner for this year will be announced on March 20.
