DESCRIPTION:Mineral\, Gem & Jewelry Show DATES: Saturday and Sunday\, April 26-27\, 2014 LOCATION: Macon County Fair Grounds\, 3700 Westlawn Ave\, Decatur. TIMES: 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday\, 10am to 4pm on Sunday. ADMISSION: $5.00 -good for both days. Seniors 59 and over $3.00 Persons in uniform (Scouts or Armed Forces) are free. Children under 15 are FREE. Parking is FREE. Merchants will showcase jewelry\, rough gems\, finished gemstones\, lapidary\, beads\, fossils\, and mineral specimens from all over the world. Demonstrators will show how to create marbles\, do chainmaille\, lampwork\, wire wrap\, beading and silversmithing. Special this year is 4H Day on Saturday with special activities. There will be a Kids Corner where each child under 15 will get a free ticket for the fossil dig. Silent Auctions will be running all weekend!
