Nationally on Thursday\, Nov. 1\, more than 200 healthcare facilities across the country will join together to present Shine a Light on Lung Cancer in celebration\, remembrance and support. This free\, educational event is being hosted by the DMH Cancer Care Institute from 5:30 7 pm at the Cancer Care Center\, 210 W. McKinley Ave. The goal is raise awareness and reduce the stigma about lung cancer. The evening's featured speaker is Desi Dennis\, MD\, DMH Interventional Radiology. Please join us survivors\, caregivers\, family members as we stand up and show our support for the lung cancer community. Hors d'oeuvres\, live music and speakers included.
