Because of the way drugs work in the brain\, addiction can form\, causing compulsive behavior and a lack of control over seeking and taking the drug. She is trained in Motivational Interviewing\n\nand EMDR.\n\nA'nna graduated with a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation\n\nCounseling from Southern Illinois University and is a Licensed\n\nClinical Professional Counselor. She currently serves as\n\nthe Program Director of clinical programs at Gateway's\n\nCarbondale site.
