DESCRIPTION:You can be the Difference!\n\n\n\nIllinois Certified Domestic Violence 40-hour Training\, Facilitated by Dove\, Inc.\n\nThe purpose of the Illinois Certified Domestic Violence 40-hour Training is to educate individuals\, including Dove\, Inc. staff\, volunteers\, and interns\, to appropriately and safely respond to domestic violence\, and to raise awareness to prevent further violence throughout the community. Forty hour certification is necessary to volunteer or work with our clients who are survivors of domestic violence. Participants who take part in the full forty hours of instruction in the required topics and successfully complete the final assessment will receive a certificate of completion\, and be eligible to volunteer with clients at Dove and other DV programs in Illinois.
