Description
Valerie Ross, Branch Manager of U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), will be the featured speaker at the Chamber Business Breakfast on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.
Valerie Ross serves as Branch Manager for the U. S. Small Business Administration in Springfield, Illinois. She is responsible for SBA outreach, lender training, and the delivery of SBA programs throughout Central and Southern Illinois.
Ross joined the Agency in 1983 and has experience as a Commercial Loan Officer and Marketing Specialist. She works with commercial lenders to familiarize them with SBA loan programs, helps make small businesses aware of SBA financing and procurement opportunities, and increases exposure for the services of SCORE Chapters and Small Business Development Centers.
Her presentation will focus on “How Small Business Administration Resources Can Help Your Business Grow” and will explain how SBA serves small businesses and how to access resources in the Decatur area.
