DESCRIPTION:Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 invite you to Arts in Central Park in downtown Decatur's beautiful Central Park on Saturday and Sunday\, September 21 and 22\, 2024\, as well as a Friday evening\, September 20\, VIP preview party. Approximately 70 booths will be open with artists from throughout the Midwest exhibiting a variety of artwork for sale\, including jewelry\, pottery\, glass\, fiber arts\, paintings\, and more.\n\n\n\nEnjoy a festive weekend\, including additional fun activities.\nCaricatures by local artist Ed Lozano\, Jr.\n\nA special Kids ArtShop for children 12 and under to buy art in the Transfer House\n\nKids activities\n\nLive music - Celtic Whistle\, Sidewalk Stompers\, and Red Wheel Barrows\n Arts inCentral Park hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Kids art activities and Kids ArtShop open at 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.\n\n\n\nPreview Party for Artists/Patrons - Friday night from 5-7 PM\n\n\n\nTo "kick off" the weekend is the ever popular Preview Party on Friday evening\, September 20\, from 5 7 p.m. This is our special thank you to those who commit to purchase at least one piece of artwork from the participating artists during the weekend.
