Description
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Back to Basics starts by weaving a woven, filled base. Techniques include start/stop weaving, twining, filling a base using the "chicken feet" method and the use of overlays. Shaping will be emphasized as this basket starts as a square base and ends round. The accent colors are mahogany & tan. Pretty beads on the front complement the colors. Perfect for a potted plant or a useful catch all! Finished dimensions are 7 1/2"H x 8 1/4"W Circumference is 25 1/2"
Dress for a mess - Toolboxes are provided for each student - great for a new weaver or as a refresher!
Bonnie Rideout is a full time basket weaving teacher from Decatur, IL who travels the united states to teach! She especially enjoys seeing new weaver complete their first basket!
