CAD Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide assistance to Gas engineering on the creation of drawings, maps, records, and documentation needed for the design, operation, and maintenance of the Ameren Illinois Gas transmission, distribution, and storage business in accordance with Company standards, policies, and governmental regulations. Update maps, construction drawings, material lists, specifications, GIS updates, posting as-builts, and file project records as required. Update new and existing Microstation drawings as required for design changes. Provide CAD support as necessary to incorporate drawing changes from marked-up drawings into final design drawings. Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Successful completion of any two of the following high school math classes with a grade of C or better: Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry, or a degree (Associates or Bachelors) in Engineering or Drafting Technology, or equivalent degree
• Two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience.
