Learn about one of the most incredible and important pollinators at Bees in Your Garden from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6 in The Studio. Master beekeeper Maggie Wachter will provide an overview of the most common bees native to Illinois, including bumblebees, mason bees and carpenter bees. Examine the complex relationship between different types of bees and the environment and discuss how gardeners can help bees of all kinds survive.
