Mechanic | 5:00AM – 2:00PM | Monday – Friday | $22.00/hr
An Automotive Mechanic is needed for the repair and maintenance of fleet vehicles for a Macon County municipality.
Job Requirements for Mechanic
- Knowledge and practical experience in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- CDL Class “B” license
- ASE certification is a plus
- Diesel experience is also a plus
Job Responsibilities Mechanic
- Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles (cars, small trucks, snowplows, dump trucks)
- Fuel vehicles
- Order parts
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems and make repairs
- Replace brakes and tires
- Document repairs
