Utility Maintenance

Utility Maintenance | Decatur, IL | 7AM – 3:30PM | Mon., Wed., Fri. | $19-$20/hr

This position is part-time, with flexible hours. 

A full-service electrical company located in Decatur, Illinois is looking for a full-time Utility Maintenance.  This company offers a complete line of services, from sales of new products, installation of new equipment, to repair of existing equipment.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work with hands
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use power tools
• Electro/Mechanical knowledge would be a plus
• Ability to read and understand schematics would be a plus
• Positive attitude with good attendance history

Job Responsibilities

• Disassemble electric motors
• Steam clean parts for repair
• Prepare components for assembly
• Paint motor housings
• Move materials using a for lift truck
• Put away and retrieve inventory
