Yard Laborer

Yard Laborer | 8AM – 5PM | Monday – Friday | $20.00/hr

Decatur, IL – auto parts, loader needed to assist in daily operations and maintain inventory in the yard

Qualifications for Yard Laborer

• Able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75#
• Experience operating a loader is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic troubleshooting and repair abilities
• Salvage yard experience is a plus

Responsibilities for Yard Laborer

• Move vehicles and parts in the yard to optimize space
• Operate crusher
• Unload  and put away incoming inventory
• Check in and inventory and update records
• Prepare loads for shipment
• Empty scrap buckets into dumpsters
• Maintain the yard to include: mowing, weed eating, snow removal
• Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
