Community Invited to Annual Book & Bake Sale at Barclay Public Library Warrensburg, IL — Book lovers and bargain hunters are invited to the Annual Book & Bake Sale hosted by the Friends of Barclay Public Library, a long-standing community tradition that coincides with Warrensburg’s annual community rummage sales. The three-day event will take place April 24–26 at Barclay Public Library, located at 220 S. Main Street in Warrensburg. Shoppers will find a wide selection of gently used books donated by community members along with recently removed titles from the library’s circulation. Most books will be priced at $2 or less, making the sale a popular stop for readers looking to stock up. Sale hours include: Thursday, April 24 – 6:00 PM Members-Only Early Shopping Night Community members may join the Friends of Barclay Public Library at the door for $15 for individuals or $25 for families to gain early access to the sale. Friday, April 25 – 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Open to the public. Saturday, April 26 – 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM $5 Bag Sale. Shoppers can fill a provided bag with books for one low price. In addition to books, visitors can enjoy a homemade bake sale featuring individually packaged treats donated by local bakers. Items will be available for $1–$5 while supplies last. Proceeds from the event support programs, resources, and events at Barclay Public Library.
