Decatur Park District Preschool Activities

New Decatur Park District preschool classes start in February! Children aged 2 – 5 can listen to stories, make cool art, and more! Register at the DISC or online at www.decatur-parks.org. For more information, call Danita Roseman at 429-3472. 

Calendar Kids: Vibrant Valentines (Ages 2 – 5)
Children aged 2 – 5 will enjoy learning about different holidays, and seasons through crafts, games, and snacks!
Date: Monday, February 6
Time: 10 – 10:40 a.m.
Fee: $7 ($5 with resident discount)
Location: Johns Hill Center, 601 S. Jasper

Sports Sampler (Ages 2 – 5)
Help your child learn the fundamentals of different sports, from T-ball to basketball, tumbling, running, and more! 
Date: Tuesdays, February 7 – March 14
Time: 10 – 10:40 a.m.
Fee: $36 ($31 with resident discount)
Location: DISC, 1295 W. Wood

Storybook Adventure: Curious George Discovers the Senses (Ages 2 – 5)
Children will listen to a story then participate in art activities highlighting the book’s characters and events.
Date: Monday, February 13
Time: 10 – 10:40 a.m.

Location: Johns Hill Center, 601 S. Jasper

Early Explorers: Dinosaurs Galore (Ages 2 – 5)
This class is designed to stimulate a child’s interests in art, science, and culture while engaging the 5 senses.
