Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 3040 North University Avenue in Decatur, as we celebrate the rebranding of Decatur Counseling Center and its continued presence in the Decatur community.

Decatur Counseling Center is a locally owned and operated counseling office. The practice continues the work of a counseling office that has served the community for more than 20 years in the same location. Dr. David Wence built that practice and recently retired, and the current team carries forward the legacy he established while operating under a new name and brand. The center brings together four licensed therapists and an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner who specializes in mental health treatment. This event is an opportunity for the Decatur business community to meet the team and learn about the services the practice provides.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 12 PM. Refreshments will be provided.
