Qualifications for Auto Body Technician
- Previous auto body and collision repair experience
- Solid work history
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- A valid driver’s license
Responsibilities for Auto Body Technician
- Prepare vehicles for repair work
- Identify any additional repairs needed outside of the estimate
- Repair vehicles per estimate
- Install replacement parts
- Prepare parts for painting
- Prepare paints
- Sand, buff, polish
- Install decals, trim, wraps
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Move vehicles in and out of the shop
