F/T Contact Center - Decatur, IL (Woodford Street)

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our current and potential members in a variety of ways. You will become knowledgeable about all the products and services we offer to help better serve and educate our members. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members both over the phone, through online banking, and through Live Chat
- Become knowledgeable about all products and services we offer
- Assist with Debit Card and Credit Card Questions
- Including fraud and dispute paperwork
- Assist with the online banking and mobile app
- Including troubleshooting and tech support
- Process address changes
- Complete Reports and projects to assist other departments
- Assist the Contact Center Manager with a variety of projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior customer service, call center, financial services or banking experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain products and services clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy.
- Active listening skills and the ability to identify member needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
- Proficiency in using computer systems.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.

- Competitive hourly wage ($16-$18 per hour, based on experience).
- Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Candidates must have the flexibility to work within these hours as scheduled.
