Quality Engineer

Job Summary:

At Caterpillar’s Decatur, IL facility, we manufacture and assemble Large Mining Trucks and Construction equipment. In this role as a Quality Engineer, you will report to the Quality Manager, and will be primarily responsible for ensuring that producst being built and processes being used adhere to all standards and requirements meeting the expectations of internal and external customers. As a member of the Quality Management Fabrication, Machine, Drive Train Assembly, and Paint team, you will need to have a growth mindset, promote continuous improvement, and help build a defect-free culture.
