Fabric Sewing Specialist| 8:00AM – 4:30PM | Mon-Fri | $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr
A local printing company is seeking a Fabric Sewing Specialist. This company is a one-stop provider of digital and offset printing services, signs, graphics, banners and decals in central Illinois.
Qualifications for Fabric Sewing Specialist
- Previous sewing experience (hand & machine)
- Experience with chain stitch or lock stitch or serger machines is a plus
- Careful attention to detail
- Ability to read measurements
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to stand throughout the day
- Good work history
- Ability to lift-up-to 50#
Responsibilities for Fabric Sewing Specialist
- Review work order details and prepare materials
- Trim edges of various fabric types
- Sew Velcro, grommets, webbing, weights using industrial sewing equipment
- Work with aluminum frames of various sizes
- Make measurements for hems, pockets and silicone edging
- Manage fabric inventory
