A local printing company is seeking a Screen Press Operator. This company is a one-stop provider of digital and offset printing services, signs, graphics, banners and decals in central Illinois.

Qualifications for Screen Press Operator

• Previous screen press operator or silkscreen printing experience needed
• Able to operate at a fast pace with accuracy
• Solid work history in a manufacturing environment
• Able to think critically and make appropriate in-process adjustments
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to read a ruler
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities Screen Press Operator

• Review orders from the customers in preparation for printings
• Prepare inks and printing materials
• Calibrate equipment and make adjustments
• Load the required design to the screen for printing
• Adjust the screen plates and pressure rollers
• Setup, load print stock and operate screen printer
• Check and maintain quality during production runs
• Coordinate with CSR’s and graphic designers to resolve problems with files
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Monitor and order supplies
