Bindery Operator| 8:00AM – 4:30PM | Mon-Fri | $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr

A local printing company is seeking a Bindery Operator. This company is a one-stop provider of digital and offset printing services, signs, graphics, banners and decals in central Illinois.

Qualifications for Bindery Operator

• Careful attention to detail
• Ability to read measurements
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to stand throughout the day
• Visual ability to identify defects
• Previous machine operator experience is preferred
• Good work history
• Ability to lift-up-to 50#
• Ability to perform basic math functions

Responsibilities for Bindery Operator

• Transfer printed stock into bindery equipment
• Operate machines such as: trim cutter, holepunch, jogger, stapler, grommet, gluer
• Collate, stack, and sort
• Operate shrink wrap machine
• Final inspection of output
• Preparation for shipment
• Completion of paperwork and production reporting
