Electronic Technician

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and equipment. 
         
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Test electronic units using standard test equipment and analyze results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment
• Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, DMM, Huntron component analyzer and Function Generators
• Reassemble and test product after repairs
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering / manufacturing instructions for assembling, testing and repairing electronics units, applying knowledge of electronic theory and components
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment and to record repairs necessary to unitsAdjust
• and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components according to IPC Standards
